Sapna Peruvemba, MS, RDN is a vegan dietitian passionate about elevating plant-based brands that share her health, environmental, and ethical values. As a PhD student involved in the latest cutting-edge nutrition research, she is uniquely positioned to help create evidence-based content and be a reputable nutrition source for your company.

My Story

I grew up in a Hindu vegetarian family, deeply passionate about animal rights. Learning about the realities of animal farming motivated me to embrace a vegan diet.

Unfortunately, 2014 was not as vegan-friendly of a time as it is today. Without access to nearly as many plant-based products or resources as now, I struggled for months to become fully vegan as I didn’t have the nutrition knowledge or cooking skills yet. I constantly worried about the nutritional adequacy of my diet and didn’t know how to make my family’s traditional Indian dishes vegan.

Over time, I felt healthier and more energetic than ever before. Driven by this transformation, I pursued two nutrition degrees, with a third in progress and on the way, discovered the environmental impact our food choices have. To me, given the health, environmental, and ethical benefits, plant-based living is a no-brainer and it is my mission to help others see that.

With my experiences, education, and expertise, I'm here to be your source for all things nutrition so that we can help your products reach more people to help them eat just a little more plant-based!
